The GTSF promotes the values of peace and unification through Taekwondo, Re-establishes the history and cultural values of Taekwondo and spreads these same values throughout the world. Based on our global Taekwondo leadership and a network of 90 million Taekwondo practitioners, the GTSF facilitates exchanges between major countries and promotes communication and cooperation between Taekwondo organizations around the world.

In celebration of 40th anniversary of the World Taekwondo Federation, WTF President Choue Chung-won proposed the establishment of the GTSF(Global Taekwondo Support Foundation), a global support organization for Taekwondo, to the Executive Committee of theWTF. This proposal was passed at the WTF General Assembly (2013.07.14), making the GTSF an official organization of the WTF.
